Undefined Creative played a unique role in helping NHL reboot the 2020 hockey season post-lockdown. We created over 1,000 animations that played throughout every game from the Qualifiers to the Finals. The animations provided dynamic, colorful “eye-candy” for eight large screens of varying dimensions that flanked the arenas in Edmonton and Toronto, enhancing the NHL’s “made-for-television” approach to this unprecedented season.

Twenty four team-specific looks included multiple logo loops, various prompters and static wallpapers. Matchups, in-game announcements and event branded elements were delivered throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Team looks were updated and iterated as the games drew closer to the end, with a special set of animations created to celebrate the Stanley Cup Champions.
