Maternova
2022 Mission Video
Maternova, a leading expert in maternal and newborn health, hired UC to update our pro-bono video (see below) that served them for over a decade! The company evolved and matured, so the playful style of the original was no longer appropriate. They wanted a more professional presentation, but without getting too cold and medical. This sophisticated, "grown-up" look comes with a side of whimsy to stay true to their mission. We produced a Spanish version to support their growing Latin American base.
2012 Mission Video
This pro-bono video builds awareness about Maternova's life-saving products and services, that ensure safe childbirths in high need areas around the globe. Our challenge was telling a big story with very little to work with. Like many startup social enterprises, Maternova had no available media to include. We relied on our custom illustrations to demonstrate Maternova's innovative products and global reach.
Created within our internship program, the production was done by a recent MFA graduate under our creative director’s guidance. This result was a win-win both for Maternova and the artist, giving him a beautiful portfolio piece produced in the “real world”.
